A group of Year 5 and Year 6 pupils have recently been participating in a rewarding project called 'Learning Through the Landscape'.  This is a project funded by the National Lottery.  The pupils involved have had the opportunity to use digital cameras in their local environment to capture images of the landscape in Carmarthen and the surrounding area.  This project has provided the pupils with an opportunity to improve their digital skills, allowing them to use digital cameras, independently upload images to a computer and also utilise software to digitally enhance their photographs.  The project will culminate with the pupils presenting a selection of their best photographs in a gallery, where the school will also be awarded with 15 digital cameras and a PC.

The children have been photographing the landscape in:

Johnstown Park

Carmarthen Castle

Llansteffan Castle

The Bishop's Palace (Abergwili Museum)
